This lovely old mill and water wheel lie just outside the town of Canton, Georgia. It is on the site of early Cherokee settlements of the early 1830's, also a military removal encampment for the Georgia Militia during the Trail of Tears in 1838. This mill and waterwheel, also called "Sixes Mill" was built in 1920. My painting is 15.5x19.5, has been created on sanded Wallis pastel paper and custom framed with fillet completing the beautiful presentation. Exterior frame measures 23x27.
